To try and make
our site as widely accessable as possible, we have used css (cascading style
sheet) for text styles and sizes. A user can use their own
css to override those set by the site or just set their browser to ignore font
sizes, font colours and/or font styles set by the site.
Where the site
design has used small images containing text, we have ensured the same are
openable in a seperate window, with larger viewable text.
The site also uses text instead of just images for headings and links etc
so that these can be read by special software that reads text on a page for
those that have severe visual impairment.
